Grant Rogerson, Chief Executive

Grant Rogerson, Chief Executive

Grant studied engineering at the University of Aberdeen and joined the group in 1994. In a career spanning more than 20 years, he has held a number of senior roles in the commercial and industrial side of the business, including General Manager of both the Specialist Auctions and Estates divisions. Grant has been instrumental in the growth and development of the group and the company’s extensive property portfolio. In September 2016, Grant was appointed to lead ANM Group – one of Scotland’s largest and most active co-operatives –  as Chief Executive and is responsible for supporting the delivery of the group’s long-term business strategy and representing the group in all its diversity.

John Gregor, Executive Director

John Gregor, Executive Director

John, an agricultural graduate, joined the Group in 1984 and has held the positions of Yard & Farm Manager, Business Development Manager and General Manager. John received a senior promotion from General Manager of the Group’s livestock and events divisions to Executive Director in April 2014. The move was representative of the pivotal role he has played in assisting with the Group’s development over the last three decades. John is a past President of the Institute of Auctioneers and Appraisers in Scotland and continues to serve on the Council; he has also been a Director of Quality Meat Scotland and is Chairman of Auction Marts Standards Setting Body. He is regularly involved representing ANM members on livestock industry stakeholder groups such as the Beef 2020 Group and the BVD Eradication Programme. In addition, John is a Director of Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Taste of Grampian. 

Avril McLeod, Group Executive Support Manager

Avril was appointed Group Executive Support Manager and a member of the Executive Team in April 2014 – responsible for supporting the day-to-day direction and management of the Group’s business activities. Avril gained over 25 years’ experience with leading accountancy practice as a commercially focused administrative leader, operating at Executive level.  


Alison Green, Group Accountant

Alison, a University of Aberdeen Accountancy graduate, is a Chartered Accountant with 15 years’ experience in accountancy practice and energy industry finance roles. Alison joined as Group Accountant and a member of the Executive Team in September 2014 with the overall responsibility for the Group’s financial operations as well as developing and updating controls and processes to further improve business performance.
