We’re looking for a part-time Accounts Assistant to join our Thainstone Events team.

Thainstone Events is a multi-skilled catering and event management company based at Thainstone Centre, Inverurie and part of ANM Group – one of Scotland’s largest and most progressive farming, food and finance businesses in the UK.
The role
The main aspect of the role is the maintenance of the purchase ledger which will involve matching and coding invoices, preparing and running BACS payments, reconciling supplier statements as well as dealing with all purchase ledger queries.  Other duties will include dealing with customer orders and enquiries and other general administration tasks as required.  Working 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with additional hours required to cover holidays and the festive period. 
Knowledge and skills
  • previous accounts payable experience
  • good communications skills
  • experience in SAGE Line 50
  • knowledge of Excel
  • good attention to detail and accuracy
  • organised and self-motivated
